Create your own bee café

Join us on the 27th of May for a hands-on children’s workshop celebrating National Children’s Gardening Week.

Children will create their own Bee Café, filling a pot with bee-friendly flowers that help support pollinators like bees and butterflies. They’ll learn why bees are so important, get their hands dirty planting their pot, decorate the pot, design their own 'Bee Cafe' sign, and take their plant pot home to enjoy and watch the bees enjoy!

This relaxed, creative activity is perfect for young gardeners aged 3-10 years old

  • A small pot to plant and take home
  • Pollinator-friendly flowers
  • Compost and watering
  • A plant label to decorate
  • Water-proof stickers to decorate the pot
